ATTENTION BOSS DOGS!
You are not the first person to decide that being the leader is the position for you in a group of people.
And every leader has a vision of what they plan for the group to achieve.
Every leader hopes to be an inspiration to their team so that they are motivated to help make it happen.
Anyone who does the in charge position finds it easier to work with a talented, autonomous team.
✅A team of Go-Getters.
✅ A team of Self Motivators.
✅A team of people who know how to act like a professional and crush it every time immediately after they walk in the door.
Well, there are a few ways to get there.
And to see which one is best for you, there is a question that needs an answer.
What kind of leader are you?
Hi, I’m Mitchell!
I entered into the professional world with my first job at Jimmy Johns when I was 18 years old.
By 19, I knew that I was the leader type of person, but I had not yet been developed into one.
So… I started working at it.
Years later after while Wendy's was scouting me for a lead position, I realized something.
The person scouting me was as a buddy of mine said “A Box Checker” and not someone I wanted training me to lead.
So… I enlisted into the United Army Active Duty.
I’m sure you can imagine the kinds of things I learned while getting myself military training and experience.
After getting discharged, it was time. Time for me to learn and develop my business side. So I built my own business from scratch with minimal resources.
It became time for me to be the one who is in charge. The one who trains and leads the team into completion of the mission.
Your mission!
Are you one them?
One of those people who lifts up those around them?
Maybe you think you are but your ego is in the way a bit and you are actually stressing them out?
Here are some structural issues that are seen in many organizations, organizations that are led by people just like you!
❌ Communication channels have blockages. It's seen when team members and supervisors are regularly venting about the lack of information they have for a task or being informed of activities at the last moment. Sometimes the staff will bring up issues to their supervisors and nothing ever comes of it.
❌ A lack of accountability in some parts of the team. Many folks can be seen not pulling their weight, creating slack for their battle buddies, and actively causing problems. Some folks often leave before their workload is done, and no one gets on their case about it or lets them know to step it up. And you can especially see it when consequences should be getting enforced but aren’t be.
❌ Training and development of the staff’s abilities is scarce. Most folks believe that giving new team members instructions on the specifics of the operation is training them. It's not. What that is, is giving them the Standard Operating Procedure of that specific operation. But it does not help them develop their abilities to operate those systems.
So... What Kind Of Leader Are You?
The kind that allows the team to fail because they can’t get around the own ego?
Or the kind that uses every resource at their disposal to lead their team forward?
Anyone who is the first kind has already…
Well let’s just say that time catches up with everyone.
But since I’m certain you are that second kind of leader…
I know that you have already chosen the right path.
